Turns your MacBook’s notch into music, mirror and file shelf.
Move your pointer onto the notch and a black panel glides out – the way Apple would do it. A round mirror on the left, your music with cover art in the middle, a shelf for files on the right.
What Kerbe can do.
- Control music from any app – cover art, a scrubbable progress bar, back, pause, next
- A real level meter in the closed notch: sub-bass, bass, mids and highs moving to the beat
- A mirror from your FaceTime camera – and a ring light that makes the whole screen edge glow
- Drop files into the notch and drag them back out later – a waiting room for drag and drop
Answered straight.
My Mac says it can’t verify the app. What now?
Kerbe isn’t notarized by Apple yet. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security once and click Open Anyway near the bottom. After that, Kerbe starts normally.
What does Kerbe ask for – and why?
Camera for the mirror, system audio for the level meter and control Music for cover art macOS doesn’t provide. Everything stays on your Mac: audio is only analysed, never stored, and the camera only runs while the panel is open.
